Two 16-year-old males were arrested by the Wheeling Police Department over the weekend in connection with an armed robbery.

Around 3 p.m. Saturday, two individuals walked into police headquarters to report they had been robbed at gunpoint by two males. The victims told officers that the suspects met them in Center Wheeling and stole money and a cell phone at gunpoint.

Following an investigation, officers located and arrested the suspects, who are each charged with one count of robbery.

Both juveniles were transported to the Ronald C. Mulholland Juvenile Center in Wheeling. Further charges may be forthcoming.
