Get ready for a day filled with festive fun and family-friendly activities at the Wild and Wonderful Winterland slated for 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7 at WesBanco Arena, 2 – 14th Street, Wheeling. This free event, sponsored by the City of Wheeling’s Parks & Recreation Department, promises to bring the magic of the holiday season to life with activities, entertainment, shopping and more.
Event highlights include the following:
-Ice skating: Bring your own skates if possible. Limited sizes will be available to borrow.
-Cookie Decorating for Kids: Supplies are limited, so arrive early.
-Craft Station for Kids: Let creativity shine.
-Write Letters to Santa: Share your holiday wishes.
-Bounce House & Inflatable Slide: Endless fun for the little ones.
-Caroling: Enjoy performances by cast members of the Strand Theatre.
In addition to the variety of activities, you can showcase your creativity in the Gingerbread House Competition. Bring your completed gingerbread house to WesBanco Arena between 10 a.m. and noon.
