Crews have encountered an unknown sanitary sewer that has caused delays in installing the new storm sewer. The block of Valley View Avenue between Chantal Avenue and Duquesne Avenue will remain closed to traffic until this work is completed. The alley to the east of Valley View Avenue should still be used as a detour around the construction zone. It is anticipated work will conclude by Friday, Nov. 15, but unforeseen circumstances could impact the project schedule.
