Wheeling Police are investigating an overnight fatal crash.

Around 1:20 a.m., Sunday, police and emergency personnel were called to WV Route 2 Southbound near the electrical substation for a single vehicle that crashed into the guardrail.

The driver, identified as Seth Thomas O’Bright, 23 of Wheeling was ejected from the car and transported to Wheeling Hospital where he later died. 

The road re-opened around 5 a.m. and the crash remains under investigation.
