City of Wheeling is pleased to kick off another season of free summer entertainment this week beginning with Waterfront Wednesday at Heritage Port featuring a performance by Hoard and Jones, a classic, country and rock band.
Toe Tappin’ Tuesdays at Warwood’s Garden Park will begin on May 30 featuring 90s country band TumbleWeed. Toe Tappin’ Tuesdays, Too, at Wheeling Park will kick off on June 6 with Easy Street, a party rock dance band.
First Fridays will make a return to Centre Market this year beginning on July 7, featuring country, pop/rock and blues tunes from Taylor Joe and the Copper Creek Band. Wheeling’s Arts & Cultural Commission will once again host Third Fridays at the Plaza on Market with the first concert being with the Matt Hill Band on July 16.
All the free concerts begin at 7 p.m.
A variety of movies will be shown on the big screen in various locations within the City throughout the summer with a showing of "D.C. League of Super Pets" on tap for June 9 at the J.B. Chambers Turf Field.
