The City of Wheeling is seeking proposals from vendors to design, supply and decorate the Centre Market for the holiday season.

Centre Market Manager Brooke Price explained the goal of the competitive process is to select a business that can provide the appropriate décor that will add to the festive atmosphere of one of the City’s premier shopping destinations.

“The Centre Market area is beautiful in its own right. However, during the most festive time of year, we want to enhance the spirit and character of the Centre Market while providing a joyous atmosphere during the holidays” she said, noting the City desires to enter into a three-year contract with the business that submits the winning proposal.

Price added the proposals will be considered, in part, based on the appropriateness for the Centre Market and the surrounding area, as well as the ability of the vendor to do the placement and removal of the decorations in a timely manner. The vendor also must have the ability to provide storage for any of the decorations that are to be used for the duration of the contract.
