Water Pollution Prevention Awareness Painting Project Postponed Due to Inclement Weather

Due to inclement weather in the forecast, the Water Pollution Prevention Awareness painting project slated for 9 a.m., tomorrow at Centre Market has been postponed until Aug. 21.

The project, led by Wheeling’s Stormwater Management in conjunction with the City’s Arts & Cultural Commission, consists of painting designs around about a dozen storm drains, the goal being to bring awareness to water pollution prevention and how residents can help with lessening the amount of pollution in our area waterways.
