The City of Wheeling Municipal Court processes citations written by the Wheeling Police Department and The City of Wheeling’s Building Code Enforcement for all city properties. They also schedule trials and notify the West Virginia Division of Motor Vehicles of violations.

PAYMENT OF FINES:

Hours of Court Sessions: 
Criminal Court/Traffic Court begins at 1:30 p.m. alternating Wednesdays. 
Building/Zoning Court begins at 1:30 p.m. alternating Wednesdays.
Juvenile Court begins at 2:30 p.m. the last Wednesday of each month unless summoned otherwise.

Ticket/Citations Fines may be paid by:

  • Telephone with credit card (Mastercard or Visa) or debit card (fees apply). Call 304-234-6473.
  • In person with credit card, debit card, cash, check (make payable to City of Wheeling) or money order (fees apply).
  • Mailing in the payment (Write ticket number on check and sign the back of your yellow and white copy, mark your plea and include with payment.)
