Please take notice that on October 21, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. in City Council Chambers, City Building, 1500 Chapline Street, the City of Wheeling Board of Zoning Appeals will be conducting public hearings to consider the following applications: 1. Walt and Sally Minter, 13 Echo Terrace, variance from section 1335.11.c: to reduce the year yard setback of an accessary building from 5’ to 2’. Purpose of request: reconstruct garage. The property is described as follows: Lot 13 on Plat of Echo Terrace recorded Ohio County Clerk’s Office Book 2 Page 31 2. Huffner Contracting, Bable St., variance from schedule 4A: to reduce the rear yard setback in the R-1B zone from 30’ to 10’. Purpose of Request: construct new homes on vacant lots. The property is described as follows: Lots 29,30,31,32 and 33 on Plat of David Alexander Addition to Greggsville recorded Ohio County Clerk’s Office Book 999 Page 443 3. Ohio County Board of Education, 1 Bethany Pike, variance(s) from section 1355.03: to allow parking in the front yard, (2) 1355.05: to eliminate the landscaping requirement of a parking area, (3) Schedule 4-A: to reduce the front yard setback in the R-1B zone from 20’ to 0’. Purpose of Request: develop six parking spaces. The property is described as follows: Lots 1-6 in the map of Woodlawn as recorded Ohio County Clerk’s Plat Book 1 Page 112.
