Wheeling has a wonderful four-seaon climate that allows for year-round recreational activities.  From golf at one of our many golf courses to water sports on the Ohio River to skiing and ice skating, There are a plethora of year-round recreational activities including biking, hiking, tennis, skateboarding, swimming, and many more. Year-round entertainment is another amazing feature of the city including local, regional, and national concert series, festivals, pro sporting events, or try your luck with all of your favorite slots and table games.  The Wheeling Heritage Port is alive with nearly 80 outdoor events in the warmer months and the cooler months offer up an infinite amount of activities!
